Solvay has equipped an educational cyber space in Madagascar
Around twenty PCs that have reached the end of their leasing lifetime have been donated to the association Medima2000, the European coordinator of the projects being developed in this village. They were mainly intended to create an educational cyber space in the town of Antsirabé, close to the village.
Already in 2001, the village of Tsaratanana in Madagascar enjoyed a new leash on life thanks in particular to the 15 km of PVC hoses and pipes and the tank donated by SolVin, Pipelife and Solvay.
Many projects are already in the pipeline: construction (including that of the cyber cafe !), carpentry, sewing, breeding, agriculture, etc.
