Solvay is committed to work hand in hand with all its partners, suppliers and customers in order to ensure the compliance of all of its REACH registration dossiers and the supply continuity in transparency and trust in the communication on its substances as such, in preparations or in articles.
By 1 December 2008, the pre-registration process ended with the exception of the late pre-registration in case of the first production or the first import of a substance.
Solvay is now providing its supply chain with the necessary information relating to the pre-registration status and registration intention on its substances subject to the REACH obligations. This information is delivered as a “REACH Information Statement” (RIS); issued with the approval of the relevant business units. Some of the RISs are publicly available on the Solvay internet site; the others can be obtained upon request at the following e-mail address.
The RISs available on the Solvay internet are easily accessible by using one of the three search criteria: the substance name, the CAS number or the EC number. Entering one of these elements will directly lead you to the substance you are looking for. Please click on the following link to access the RIS searching page
We hope that you will find the information you are seeking. Should you not find the relevant RIS, please do not hesitate tosend your request with a clear indication of the substances/products you are looking for.
For all the chemical substances that Solvay purchases to use in its manufacturing processes and/or in the formulations of products delivered to your company, Solvay collected from its suppliers the appropriate information. When needed, Solvay will take the appropriate measures in order to ensure the supply continuity.
You will find further information about REACH and Solvay’s actions for REACH implementation by consulting the other informative pages dedicated to REACH on this website or by accessing the Frequently Asked Questions.
